2. Website Information

The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but product information, availability, pricing, images, service areas and project details may change without notice.

Images shown on this website may include completed projects, sample imagery, supplier images or temporary stock imagery. Actual flooring colours, grain, texture and finish may vary depending on product batch, lighting, room conditions and screen settings.

Nothing on this website should be treated as a final quotation, binding offer or guarantee of product availability unless confirmed in writing by Vision Flooring.

3. Free In-Home Flooring Consultations

Vision Flooring may offer free in-home flooring consultations. During a consultation, we may bring flooring samples, discuss your goals, review the rooms or areas being upgraded, take measurements and provide practical advice about suitable flooring options.

A free consultation does not guarantee that we will accept a project, provide a quote, or supply or install a particular product. We may decline work where the project is outside our service area, outside our scope, unsafe, unsuitable, unavailable, or impractical to complete.

4. Enquiries and Booking Requests

When you submit an enquiry through the website, by phone, email or another contact method, you agree that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking or contract. A booking is only confirmed once Vision Flooring has accepted the booking and confirmed the details with you.

We may contact you to clarify your requirements, including your suburb, property type, rooms or areas needing flooring, product interest, preferred timing, access requirements and any relevant site conditions.

5. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote provided by Vision Flooring is based on the information available at the time, including measurements, product selection, site access, subfloor condition, installation requirements and any other project-specific factors.

Unless stated otherwise in writing, a quote may not include additional works or costs discovered after the quote is prepared, including but not limited to:

– subfloor levelling or repair
– moisture issues
– removal or disposal of existing flooring
– unexpected site conditions
– access restrictions
– additional trims, transitions or stair details
– changes to product selection
– changes to project scope
– delivery, storage or supplier-related changes

A quote is valid only for the period stated in the quote. If no validity period is stated, the quote should be confirmed with Vision Flooring before acceptance.

6. Acceptance of Quote

A project is not confirmed until you accept the quote and Vision Flooring confirms the project in writing. We may require a deposit, signed acceptance, written approval or other confirmation before ordering products or scheduling installation.

Once a quote is accepted, any requested changes to the product, layout, rooms, installation method, timing or scope may require a revised quote.

7. Product Selection

Vision Flooring provides guidance to help you compare flooring products in your home, including colours, materials, textures, durability, maintenance requirements and suitability for different rooms.

Final product selection is your responsibility. We encourage you to review samples carefully in the areas where the flooring will be installed, under your own lighting and beside your furniture and finishes.

Natural materials such as timber may include variation in grain, colour, knots, markings and texture. These variations are part of the natural character of the product and are not necessarily defects.

8. Installation and Site Access

You agree to provide reasonable access to the property so Vision Flooring or its installers can complete the agreed work safely and efficiently.

Before installation, you may be required to:

– clear rooms or agreed work areas
– remove personal belongings, fragile items and valuables
– arrange access to power and suitable parking
– ensure pets and children are kept safely away from work areas
– notify us of any known hazards, defects, moisture issues or access limitations
– obtain any required approvals from landlords, owners corporations, builders or other relevant parties

If the site is not ready when installation is scheduled, additional costs or delays may apply.

9. Project Timing

Vision Flooring will make reasonable efforts to complete work within agreed timeframes. However, project timing may be affected by product availability, supplier delays, weather, site conditions, access issues, additional preparation work, illness, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Any installation dates or completion dates are estimates unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

10. Subfloor and Site Conditions

Flooring performance depends on suitable site conditions, including the condition of the subfloor, moisture levels, ventilation, existing floor coverings and building movement.

If unsuitable conditions are identified before or during installation, Vision Flooring may recommend additional preparation, repairs, levelling, moisture treatment or other work before installation proceeds. These works may involve additional costs and may affect timing.

11. Changes, Cancellations and Delays

If you need to change or cancel a booking or accepted project, please contact Vision Flooring as soon as possible.

Cancellation or change fees may apply where products have been ordered, custom materials have been arranged, installers have been scheduled, or work has already commenced.

If Vision Flooring needs to reschedule due to supplier delays, safety issues, unsuitable site conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be set out in your quote, invoice or written project agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made by the due date shown on the invoice. Vision Flooring may require a deposit before ordering products or scheduling work.

If payment is overdue, Vision Flooring may pause work, delay installation, withhold further services, recover reasonable debt collection costs, or take other action available at law.

13. Warranties and Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product or service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, depending on the circumstances.

Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain flooring products. These warranties are provided by the relevant manufacturer or supplier and may be subject to specific terms, exclusions, maintenance requirements and installation conditions.

14. Care and Maintenance

After installation, Vision Flooring may provide general aftercare guidance to help you maintain your new flooring.

You are responsible for following product-specific care instructions, manufacturer recommendations and reasonable maintenance practices. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect cleaning products, excessive moisture, poor ventilation, furniture movement, pets, accidents or failure to follow care instructions may not be covered by warranty.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision Flooring is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from delays, interruptions, product availability issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law
